Drennan RAF ‘A’ Team Take Victory In RAF Challenge Match

The Drennan RAF lads practise week for the Divison 1 National finished with the RAF challenge match on the Shropshire Union Canal.

This event saw 25 teams of 5 compete for the last time before the main event, the Divison 1 National.

As with most sides, 2 teams of 5 were entered with Drennan RAF ‘A’ seemingly having a more favourable draw with end pegs and marinas featuring in their envelope. “But, as we discovered this week, ‘Dolly’ pegs aren’t always what they seem and bonuses can feature anywhere.”

In the end, a combination of lessons learnt throughout the week, Drennan RAF ‘A’ team lead the field, ahead of some very strong opposition.
