FAVOURITE METHODS: Legered dead baiting, float fished live baits or lure fishing from a boat.

ANGLING AMBITIONS: To catch more than 100 twenty-pound pike, with 10 over thirty pounds, of which 3 of those to be over thirty-five pounds. Of course, the ultimate dream is to catch a forty!

ABOUT: Steve is an E-Sox consultant and is best known for his pike fishing, but is actually an all-rounder, though he openly admits that nothing quite gets him jumping out of bed at some ridiculously early hour, like his beloved pike. Steve has appeared on SKY SPORTS Tightlines, been a columnist for Angler's Mail in the past, and now writes a weekly predator column for Angling Times, as well as writing regularly for the Blinker stable of magazines in Germany. Pike specialist at Fish O'mania Final 2013, main speaker at the Pike Angler's Club of Great Britain annual Convention, and more recently presented to the Fisheries Board/Tourist Board of Finland, offering advice on how they can attract more overseas pike angler's to Finland.
