“I’ve just had a bit of a first for me,” The self-confessed Drennan fan told us. “Four 100lb-plus weights in my last four matches on four different venues; almost the entirety of these weights on a 0.2g Drennan Crystal Dibber! These little beauties seem to work everywhere!”

Barrie’s Latest Catches:

  • 142lb for 6th overall and 2nd in the pairs in a 60-peg charity open at Tunnel Barn Farm. All shallow.
  • 106lb for 3rd in a midweek open at Manor Farm Leisure. Most shallow.
  • 112lb for 2nd in Round Four of the 70-peg Barston Lakes Masters last Saturday. All shallow.
  • 116lb for 2nd in a midweek open at Woodland View. Most shallow.
