The picture was taken following Gary’s trip to a venue called Strawberry Fields in Kent, where he fished for Perch in company with Lee Chatfield – the subject of Gary’s “Angling Adventures” article in the Anglers Mail on February 11th.

Gary used a Drennan Acolyte Ultra 14ft rod and a Shimano Rarenium reel to fish a 2.5AA Crystal Waggler with maggot and caster – taking some lovely Perch up to 2lb 13oz.
