The top of the range 2lb and 2¼lb Acolyte barbel rods are designed for big rivers and big fish. The power play action has been pushed forward, higher toward the tip so the rods sit up well in a strong flow. This same design feature also helps with semi self-hooking set ups associated with big leads and feeders. Optimum reel lines 10lb to 15lb."
