Young Dorset anglers Arron O’Hara (above) and Ben Gibbens have been catching some quality Dorset Grayling this Winter on trotting tactics.
The lads have managed a couple of fish over 2lb on shallow, fast flowing stretches of the Dorset Frome – using their favoured tactics of Supplex line, a Drennan Loafer float and size 18 Wide Gape Specialist hook. Ben is pictured below with another cracking fish:
Arron tells us his goal this season is to catch a huge, 3lb Grayling – “Even with the floods here now I don’t intend to give up until the last day of February!” he told us.
