Tom won the Winter League match on the River Wye with a quite superb 44lb of Perch – all taken by gently trotting a Lollipop float with maggot on a Drennan Carbon Feeder hook, and using a 5g Inline Olivette.

Tom’s is the 4th generation to run the famous Coventry tackle shop, and actually has the blood of a World Champion angler flowing in his veins! His grandfather Billy Lane junior, was the first English World Freshwater Champion way back in 1963 when he won on the River Moselle in Luxembourg.
