Tim told us “I scaled down my tactics which included short 5” helicopter rigs and a size 8 hook, on the hook was a hand rolled 10mm fishmeal based boilie with a tiny amount of paste over it. This was fished over half a kilo of crushed boilie.
At 6.30am I received a light tap on the rod and I instantly thought ‘bream’, a few minutes later I was blessed with this 18lb 2oz bream in my landing net. I recently broke my pb bream with a 15lb 4oz so this just smashed it out of the water.
Later that morning I had another bream which weighed in at 12lb which finished the session on nicely.
