Third Place For Hemingray On Bristol Avon Riverfest Qualifier

steve-hemingray-riverfestCongratulations and commiserations in equal measure to Steve Hemingray for coming third in the latest Riverfest Qualifier with 33lb 2oz of bream on the Bristol Avon.

“It was nearly the perfect start to my 2014 Riverfest campaign,” The Drennan Team England ace commented, “I had 33lb of bream, chub and perch, which was enough for 3rd in the match… but unfortunately 2nd in my zone, so I never managed one of the three all-important qualifying places!”

Steve used a 12ft Match Pro Medium Feeder rod with 6lb Method & Feeder Mono to a 0.12mm Double Strength hooklength and size 16 Kamasan B560 hook.

Richard Chave was a popular winner on the day. The Dorset fireman recorded an impressive 51lb 7oz bag of bream from peg 97 on groundbait feeder tactics.
