If you are struggling to pick a pole float for your next session, look no further than the Carp 1.

The first in an all-new series of pole floats has been built to withstand the rigours of commercial fisheries and hard-fighting fish like carp, tench and F1s.

It has an ultra-rugged exterior thanks to our unique acrylic paint finish. This makes it unbelievably tough and difficult for the line to mark under pressure. Beneath this is a high-density balsa body for maximum buoyancy and shotting capacity. Our balsa bodies are also precision machined in our own factories here in the UK.

Our unique black stainless steel spring eyes are double wound so the line cannot get accidentally pinched. These special eyes are also much smaller and lighter than others on the market, so they shouldn’t impair the float’s performance.

Unlike most pole floats, the carbon stem does not go all the way through the float’s body and into the hollow tip, as this can inadvertently affect it’s buoyancy and performance. Instead, the highly visible hollow Glow Tip has it’s own strengthening spigot. The tip itself is 1.5mm, which makes it suitable for almost any bait from maggots to meat.
