Oxfordshire specimen angler Steve Russell bagged this gorgeous carp whilst Tench fishing earlier this Summer on a local lake!

The big Mirror weighed in at 32lb 2oz and tested his tackle to the limit during the tussle in and out of the weed.   Steve was wisely fishing a ‘sleeper’ rod just away from his baited area for Tench, and tied up a combi rig incorporating a Fluoro stiff link to a super supple 1-inch braided section, and a size 8 ESP Curve-Shanx hook baited with a CC Moore Gaz Fareham Northern Special pop up.
