Drennan Pike consultant & EsoxWorld editor Steve Rowley with a 29lb 8oz gravel pit Pike caught using a pre-production sample E-Sox rod, to complete a spectacular two-day session as described in Drennan Latest this week! 

Despite uncomfortable wet and windy weather Steve caught a number of quality Pike, including the same hungry 17lb fish three times! However, Steve’s brace of twenties, at 24lb and 29lb 8oz made it a really memorable trip. After taking the time to prebait an area, Steve fished fresh Sardines injected with extra sardine oil to create really pungent, high-leak off deadbaits easily found by his quarry.
