Drennan Team England’s Steve Hemingray has sent us an update following his World club Championship qualifier match on Newark Dyke, Nottinghamshire at the weekend.

Steve caught over 7 kilos (more than 15lb) of big Roach & Bream on a15g flat float, single maggot & 3 bloodworm presented on a size 16 Kamasan B560 hook to a 0.12mm Drennan Double Strength hooklength. The catch was enough to give him a section win on the 1st day (and overall individual 2nd place), helping Kamasan Starlets to a 2 day outright win and a trip to the World Club Championships in Italy next June!
