Scott Cordingly has beaten his personal best roach with this 1lb 13oz river specimen.

The talented big-fish angler told us: “There are not many fish on this stretch and I have been fishing it for eight years and have never seen a roach this big. It’s my new PB of and my first roach over the 1lb mark from a river!”

The fish was caught on a size 12 Drennan Super Specialist hook.
