This fabulous photo is Sammie Watson from Suffolk with a Barbel caught during a holiday trip to the lovely Westwood Lakes complex in Lincolnshire.

Sammie is married to Drennan’s Norfolk & East Area Sales Agent Julien Watson, so has access to top notch tackle and advice – which she obviously put to perfect use in catching some lovely Carp, Barbel and Bream.

The action picture here shows Sammie playing a hard-fighting Stillwater Barbel using a Series 7 F1 Carp Waggler 10ft rod and Supplex line. The fish was hooked using a size 12 Pushstop Method hair-rig baited with pellet.
