Coventry’s Phil Smith with a terrific Eel weighing 5lb 10oz from a midlands stillwater, one of several quality Eels he’s caught recently, up to a mighty 7lb!

Phil used an old Drennan E-Sox Pike Deadbait Rod to fish two Lobworms on a size 6 hook to a 3ft hooklink, and the same night also produced a further two specimen Eels weighing 4lb 9oz and 4lb 2oz.
