The top of the range 2lb & 2.25lb Acolyte barbel rods are designed for big rivers and big fish. The power play action has been pushed forward, higher toward the tip so the rods sit up well in a strong flow. This same design feature also helps with semi self-hooking set ups associated with big leads and feeders. Optimum reel lines 10lb to 15lb."
