Neil Jackson Bags Up with Thames Roach for Angling Times

Accomplished Oxford match angler Neil Jackson in action on the Thames locally just recently; this excellent photograph by Ben Fisk appearing courtesy of Angling Times.

Neil has been fishing the Thames in and around his home-town for a long time, having originally been taught by his Dad as a boy, and is a dab-hand at catching the quality Roach on the float.

On the day the Angling Times feature was fished, Neil fished a 6BB Stick Float with Hemp, Tares, Casters & Elderberries to put together a really superb bag of Roach, in company with fellow Littlemore Angling Club member Alan Campbell.  Both lads also used our Ultralight float rods – their crisp, but forgiving actions being perfectly suited to this style of fishing.  Check out this week’s edition of Angling Times for the full story!
