He’s a member of the England Kayak Team and had spent the morning on a large reservoir, catching several fish to just under 15lb on lure tactics. Following a short lunch break, his small shad was inhaled midwater by what was clearly a much larger fish. After a short fight he couldn’t believe the size of the fish that surfaced. Both he and his fishing partner were astounded by its size and girth, with the specimen a new PB by some margin.
