Lee Chatfield kindly sent us these terrific river Roach pictures – all caught using one of our 14ft Acolyte Float rods.

Lee fished a southern river using a Stick float and bread punch hookbaits (one of his favourite methods) for a Saturday session last month in company with Matthew Tann. After being plagued by Trout in the morning, they switched to a different spot for the afternoon.

This tactical switch paid off as Lee found the new swim to be ‘solid with Roach’ and in the last 90 minutes of the day the lads ‘bagged up’ !
