Congratulations to everyone who made it through to the next stage of Match Fishing magazine’s Drennan Knockout Cup after an excellent river heat yesterday. 

Thirty anglers battled it out for Round Three, which was fished on the River Trent at Radcliffe. Despite clear water and strong sunshine it fished surprisingly well for most of the competitors.

Fifteen lucky anglers now go through to Round Four at Lake John in Essex. We shall let Match Fishing reveal exactly who caught what and how in their next issue – but we can tell you that one certain Drennan employee was kindly given a day off and then handed a £500 winner’s cheque signed by a Mr P Drennan for the privilege!
