Fishing the famous River Great Ouse with some mates, Jamie ended a terrific year personally by bagging first a 4lb 6oz example, then the next day a different specimen of 4lb 5oz – as well numerous 2lb and 3lb back up fish! Jamie tells us he used a Series 7 Specialist Avon Quiver 12ft 1¼lb rod fitted with a 1½oz Slow Taper Glass tip and FD 3000 reel to present Lobworms on a simple link ledger rig.
