After receiving a kind invite from Lee Chatfield, Mark Pilley, and Tom Aldous headed down to Surrey in search of the golden orfe the lake is famous for. 

They each used a simple waggler set up consisting of a Drennan Loaded Crystal Waggler, Supplex hooklink and a size 16 Super Specialist Hook baited with maggots. The tactics were simple too, feed little and often throughout the day via a catapult and build the swim up gradually.

They each managed to land their target fish during the session, Mark’s weighing the biggest at 5lb 2oz, Lee with a fish of 4lb 11oz and Tom with another stunning orfe just and ounce lighter at 4lb 10oz.
