From vast wild lakes to tiny man-made fisheries, big perch pop-up in every kind of water imaginable, as Gary Spillard proved with this 5lb 5oz beast from a holiday resort!
Gary was fishing at Devon’s Clawford Lakes Resort and Spa on Lodge Lake when he landed the massive fish. He was targeting that exact perch at the time, with the massive fish falling to a lure. It measured at 52cm and was netted by Gary’s son, Hugo, at the first attempt.
