The results from Match Fishing magazine’s annual Tackle Awards are now in, with Drennan once again scoring highly.

The number one accolade has to be Tackle Company Of The Year. Hopefully it reflects the level of dedication, expert input and attention to detail that goes into everything we manufacture.

One of those key products has been the Crystal Dibber which wins the Most Innovative Product Of The Year. This amazing little pole float has now won four separate awards for innovation, thanks to the Angling Times, Pole Fishing, Coarse Fishing Answers… and now Match Fishing!

The Best Power/Carp Pole category was awarded to the Acolyte Carp.  Again, this is another product that has now received multiple awards. With innovative concepts like Double 2 Kits, Roller Cones and the Side Pull System it’s great to see so many people giving it a clear thumbs up!

The Series 7 Puddle Chucker Pellet Waggler wins the Best Float Rod Under £120 category. This two-piece model comes in 11ft and 12ft lengths and is a solid workhorse that’s purpose-made for carp and commercial fisheries.

We are also pleased to see Drennan Luggage top the Best Luggage category. We feel we have achieved the right blend of practicality and durability in some great-value items, with plenty of choice to suit everyone’s needs. The stylish aqua colour scheme really looks the part, too, so it’s perhaps no surprise that the Drennan Rive Seatbox has also won the Best Seatbox category.
