Chris Jenkinson won Round 3 of the Drennan Silverfish League at Rycroft Fisheries in Leicestershire.
Despite the talented Nottingham angler being away from match fishing for a couple of seasons, he proved he has lost none of his magic, catching 19lb 8oz of skimmers. Drawn on peg 19 on Donno Lake, he fished the long pole in 12ft of water with chopped worm and casters and a red maggot hook bait.
In-form John Eccles was 2nd from peg 24 on Carp Lake. He alternated between the waggler and pole for a weight of roach and skimmers, plus two big perch for 5lb.
After three matches, Kamasan Starlets and Sensas backed Darren Bickerton leads the 11 match series with 52lb 4oz.
