Double Gold For England Under 23s!

Drennan Team England Under 23s mastered the River Sorraia in Coruche, Portugal, to win World Championship team and individual gold at the weekend.

england-u23-2016-teamThe talented team of Bradley Gibbons, Ricky Marshall, Alex Clements, Matthew Barnett and Rory Jones got off to a blistering start, winning Day One with just 15 penalty points. An even better Day Two effort gave them 13 points to finish the competition well ahead of second placed Italy’s 39-point total.

England had double cause to celebrate with Alex Clements taking the individual top spot with three points and a 13.222kg combined weight.

The Sensas England Under 18s also had a good weekend earning themselves a team bronze medal and George Organ winning individual silver.
