Thanks to young angler Dan Thornett from Essex, who has sent us some of his super recent pike photos, all caught on Drennan 7-strand Trace Wire!

This particular fish, from the Heybridge Basin Canal (Blackwater & Chelmer Navigation), weighed 14lb and fell to a Sprat deadbait presented on our 7 Strand Pike Wire and put up a memorable fight.

“These ‘wild’ pike fight so much harder than the Pike at my local gravel pit” commented Dan, who has also landed some cracking Pike and Perch to over 3lb on Mepps spinners.
