Herts specimen angler Dan Sales is also an experienced guide on the famous River Ebro in Spain – and sent us these amazing Roach photos from a recent trip!
Dan has just returned from a 3 week stint where he guided several well known anglers, the final week of the trip being the most successful in terms of big Roach. The amazing photo above shows a bag of TEN 2lb+ Roach the lads put together, the biggest fish scaling 2lb 15oz!
Simple quiver tip tactics were all that was required in the right location, with a running feeder rig to a long hooklink of 5lb Supplex to a size 10 Drennan Barbless Sweetcorn hook baited with a single large grain.
