Pictured is a handsome 6lb 11oz chub caught by Drennan’s Richard Norris from his favourite stretch of the Thames in Oxfordshire. 

This was the best of seven fish, all caught on the new Acolyte Plus 12ft Feeder rod and a medium 40g Heavyweight Cage Feeder packed with coarsely liquidised bread. The best hook bait was two 11mm discs of punched bread on a size 10 Kamasan B611 hook to a 45cm hooklength of 0.16mm Supplex Fluorocarbon.
