Simon Taylor from Bedford enjoyed a great days fishing at Ferry Meadows recently, catching numerous bream and skimmers for an impressive bag of just over 45lb.

Simon fished an area at 50 yards using his 12ft Series 7 Competition Feeder rod, 6lb main line, a 30g cage feeder and 5lb hook length with a size 14 hook.

Using worm on the hook along with chopped worm and caster in the feeder, plugged either end with groundbait.
