Kevin Sanders had a great day’s crucian fishing at Marsh Farm in Surrey, with several fish to 2lb 3oz.

“I had 14 crucians, including three 2lbers, and just as many tench,” he explained. “All were caught using a small Drennan In-line Flat Method Feeder with Sonubaits Method Mix groundbait, corn steep liquor and just a handful of sweetcorn. Hook bait was a single hair-rigged Drennan Buoyant Caster.”
