Thank you to German angler Andreas Pepke for this photo of an impressive Grass Carp weighing 16.5 kilos (around 36lb), which measured 94cm in length!

Andreas fished a lake called Zeller Weiher in Baden-Württemberg, Germany – and used a large piece of Bread crust freelined on a size 4 Drennan Specimen Plus hook to fool the fish.

“The hook did very well, a good job” Andreas told us.
