Gardner Tackle’s accomplished specialist angler Alan Stagg has continued his prolific Winter Pike campaign with another stunner – this 26lb 12oz fish.

Al tells us this is actually a repeat capture of a fish he caught earlier in the Winter at 27lb, but now caught from a different swim over ½ mile away!

“The fish took a sardine (awesome bait), which was positioned on a small gravel hump at 40 yards range. Size 4 semi-barbed E-Sox Extra Strong trebles, 28lb wire and 30lb Gardner Kinetic Braided mainline featured in the terminal tackle. I’m really impressed with stuff, the wire is so limp and the hooks are very reliable” Al told us.
