Joe Atkinson had an end of season to remember as he banked himself a new personal best chub, in the shape of this fine 7lb 12oz specimen.

On his last session of the season, Adam Mason landed his biggest-ever chub – this specimen of 7lb 12oz from Norfolk’s River Bure.
He kicked off the session by walking the stretch and feeding a few bits of homemade cheesepaste into each likely looking spot before working his way back down the river.
Having landed a fish of 3lb 14oz and missing a few bites, Adam moved to a deeper glide near a bush where he’d landed a fish of 6lb 10oz back in December last year.
After five minutes his quiver tip pulled around and, soon after, he was slipping the net under the new PB. A cheesepaste hookbait fished on a simple link leger rig did the trick.
Well done Adam!
