A Lovely Mixed Bag of Upper Thames River Fish!

Drennan’s Stewart Moss caught this lovely mixed bag of fish from the little River Evenlode, a tributary of the Upper Thames, in just a couple of hours at dawn last weekend.

Stewart set up a Matchpro Medium Feeder rod with a simple running Gripmesh feeder loaded with breadcrumb, in conjunction with a tiny piece of breadflake on a size 10 Wide Gape spade end hook to a 3lb Team England rig line hooklength. This well balanced set-up outwitted a few fish in short time, including Chub, a couple of nice Roach and a Roach/bream hybrid.
