The 25/26 season featured highs and lows for many specimen anglers.

During the summer months, we were dealt with high temperatures and virtually no rain, with many counties implementing hose pipe bans and several fisheries closing due to low water levels. Fast forward a few months and it was all change with flooding all over, and many rivers becoming almost unfishable. Even with all of that to contend with, there was some spectacular captures reported including 2 British Record Barbel from Simon Baker and Nathan Buckingham, Bream to over 22lb, Perch to just shy of 6lb and even a 20lb plus Zander.
The front runners in awards this season were Simon Daley who earned himself 5 awards, Stephen Gibbons with 4 awards, and Julian Barnes, and Dan Bouskila who both banked 3 awards. This was backed up with several anglers landing themselves 2 awards such as Lee Snow, Dave Owen, Andy Waters, Rikki Cooper, Nigel Kennard, Adam Riches, Adam Perna, Ryan Haydn, Simon Ashton, Lee Tebble, Jamie Ryan, James Champkin, Nathan Buckingham and Joe Atkinson.
