It was caught from a Bedfordshire stillwater and follows hot on the heels of another 10lb 14oz fish he caught from a Northamptonshire water a few days earlier. Tactically, rather than fish the in-vogue heli-rig, Julian opted for a Method feeder, on which he presented a double fake caster hookbait. This was fished over casters, hemp, and 2mm pellets.
