“With the rivers on the rise, conditions were perfect so I headed back and fished a slack area just off the main flow with a boilie wrapped in paste and a pva bag of crushed boilies as freebies about a rod length out. Well just after dark my rod wrapped round and after a short battle I had a new pb barbel in the net in the shape of this lovely 16lb 4oz specimen.” He added.
