Mark Humphries made it six zander over 15lb from the River Severn when he netted a 16lb 2oz specimen while fishing on the waterway near Worcester.

The experienced predator angler tempted the giant fish, his fifth double of the season using a two-inch roach deadbait fished on a size 8 hook with a quiver tip and light leger setup.
